If you meet the eligibility requirements, you can enroll in low-cost ACA Marketplace health insurance during the Open Enrollment Period, which runs from November 1 to January 15.

Outside the open enrollment period, you may still qualify for a Special Enrollment Period if someone in your household has experienced a qualifying life event within the last 60 days, or if you will lose health coverage in the next 60 days.

Qualifying life events include:

• Loss of health coverage                                                      • Loss of Medicaid

• Married or divorced                                                              • Change in your household size

• Birth of a child                                                                       • Moved to another county or zip code

• Low-income range                                                                • Released from incarceration              

• Loss of CHIP                                                                          • Death of a family member
